Albert Luppol

Software engineer,
Milwaukee.

Four years building web applications and the systems behind them — AI-driven advertising, CRM and chatbot platforms, REST APIs and event-driven services. Python, TypeScript, Java.

What I do

I build the parts of a product that have to keep working — the API, the data model, the job that runs at 3 a.m. Most of my work is backend and platform: modular and event-driven architectures, REST services, and getting legacy systems onto them without the rewrite everyone regrets.

Before software I trained as a mechanical engineer and worked as a project manager, which turns out to be a slower way of learning the same lesson: the interesting problem is never the one in the ticket.

Life Balance

A planner that organises goals and initiatives around long-term values instead of a to-do list. Spring Boot service over Postgres, containerised, with tests and coverage running on every push.

Crazy Fingers

A typing trainer for getting comfortable with a new keyboard — real text, live accuracy, no account and no ceremony. Runs entirely in the browser.

Nanolink

A URL shortener split the way it would be split in production: a FastAPI service that owns writes, a Fastify service that does nothing but redirect fast, MongoDB between them.
