What the demo apps at lifebalance.luppol.com, nanolink.luppol.com and familytree.luppol.com keep about you, for how long, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 4 October 2026.

When you sign in
Continue as guest uses one shared demo account. Nothing about you is collected beyond the sign-in record described below.
Sign in with Google or GitHub creates a demo account on the sign-in server (auth.luppol.com) from what that provider sends: your name, your e-mail address, your user name there and an ID the provider gives you for this site. No password is stored, your provider's access tokens are not kept, and nothing else from your account is stored — no contacts, posts, photos or friends.
If you later sign in with a second provider that has the same e-mail address, you can add it to the same demo account after signing in once the way you did before; an account is never joined on the e-mail address alone.
The account is used for one thing only: to let you into the demos.
What is kept, and for how long
Your demo account (name, e-mail address, your user name and ID at the provider, creation time): deleted automatically 30 days after it was created. If you come back later, a new one is created.
What you create inside a demo (plans, short links, family trees, photos): wiped every night at 04:15 US Central time.
Sign-in records (time, IP address, which account and which provider): kept 90 days to protect the service from password guessing and abuse.
Server logs (time, IP address, address requested): kept in size-capped logs that delete their oldest entries as new ones arrive. IP addresses that attack the server, for example by guessing passwords or scanning for weaknesses, are shared with the CrowdSec community blocklist.
Encrypted backups of the sign-in server exist for disaster recovery only. If one is ever restored, the 30-day deletion above runs again the next night.
Cookies: only the session cookies that keep you signed in. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising.
Deleting your data
Your demo account is deleted on its own 30 days after you first signed in. To have it deleted sooner, e-mail albert.y.luppol@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, or name the provider you used; it is deleted within 7 days and you get a reply when it is done.
You can also remove this site's access at any time in your Google or GitHub account settings.
Terms of use
The demos are free, provided as they are for evaluation, with no promise of availability. Do not put anything important or personal into them: everything you create is wiped every night. Attacking the service or using it for anything unlawful ends your access.
